Nutcracker: ECBT and the big bad Ballet

This is our company’s first annual Nutcracker performance. It’s a monster of a project for a small pre-professional dance company, but amazingly, so far, the process has been going very well! The choreography is turning out beautiful, the dancers and guest performers are developing into family with all the Holiday spirit required for such a seasonal work. I have observed, participated in, and directed several rehearsals over the past couple months, and can say from experience that this is going to be a wonderful show.

Our staff and volunteers are managing to create a whole dream world where children and parents alike can escape over the holiday break. Our dancers, set, and costumes will bring you back to a time of elegance and sophistication and then whisk you away to The Kingdom of Sweets. There, Clara, her prince, and the audience get a taste of candies from across the world.
